Capcom Pro Tour announced their new rules on May 17 for the Street Fighter fighting game, Including one rule in particular about sponsorships.. TEAMyp or YouPorn is an adult website sponsorship they sponsor some great players and while I personally don't see the problems with them the Capcom Pro Tour as well as many other tournament organizers have put a ban on their sponsorship. People now sponsored by TEAMyp in the Capcom Pro Tour wont be allowed to show their sponsorship on the streams they play on. Which might just end TEAMyp's sponsorship in the Street Fighter scene all together. RIP TEAMyp

SKT Telecom 1 Win the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational!
The popular eSport League of Legends had it's mid-season invitational this weekend and SKT were invited, and of course they brought their game faces. While SKT were pretty much a shoe in for the finals simply because of their record of wins and results, I would say that little to no people saw CLG, the North American team that also went to the finals, getting there. NA fans were very excited about a top North American team finally making it to a final as CLG was the first NA team to make the final at a Riot Major. However, SKT DOMINATED in the grand finals playing best 3/5 games with CLG in the final and winning with a crushing victory of 3-0 for the Korean legends. Another successful victory added to SKT Telecom 1's amazing record.

So the Counter Strike scene this week has been a bit worried about the outcome of their scene, and what will become of the eSport in the future. This is because ESL, the biggest Counter Strike tournament organizers for the game, announced the WESA (World Esports Association) an Association in which ESL partnered with some of the top teams in the league. The teams include Fnatic, Natus Vincere, EnVyUs, Virtus.pro, G2 Esports, FaZe, Mousesports, and Ninjas in Pyjamas. This is worry some to the fans because now all of the players for those teams are owned by ESL, who once just hosted the tournament now controls them entirely, and the community is sure this means that the ESL tournaments will host tourneys exclusively to those teams. Which is not what the scene is all about. It takes away some control from the community and I think that is a problem.
