So the Counter Strike scene this week has been a bit worried about the outcome of their scene, and what will become of the eSport in the future. This is because ESL, the biggest Counter Strike tournament organizers for the game, announced the WESA (World Esports Association) an Association in which ESL partnered with some of the top teams in the league. The teams include Fnatic, Natus Vincere, EnVyUs, Virtus.pro, G2 Esports, FaZe, Mousesports, and Ninjas in Pyjamas. This is worry some to the fans because now all of the players for those teams are owned by ESL, who once just hosted the tournament now controls them entirely, and the community is sure this means that the ESL tournaments will host tourneys exclusively to those teams. Which is not what the scene is all about. It takes away some control from the community and I think that is a problem.
